El martes 15 de diciembre de 2015 \u00a0en el sector La Gloria de Pumanque, con la presencia del Alcalde de la comuna FRANCISCO CASTRO G\u00c1LVEZ, entre otras Autoridades, se dio por inaugurada la iluminaci\u00f3n p\u00fablica de esta localidad, iniciativa que cont\u00f3 con el amplio respaldo de sus habitantes, ya que para ellos la iluminaci\u00f3n en el trayecto era una necesidad sentida y manifiesta.<\/p>\n
Dicha iluminaci\u00f3n fue co – financiada con recursos Regionales F.N.D.R. 2% Seguridad P\u00fablica y aportes Municipales y consisti\u00f3 en la instalaci\u00f3n de 08 luminarias p\u00fablicas fotovoltaicas cuyo objetivo fue mejorar la seguridad de las personas que transitan por el camino I \u2013 616.<\/p>\n
La decisi\u00f3n de instalar iluminaci\u00f3n fotovoltaica obedeci\u00f3 a que se trata de energ\u00eda solar que tiene m\u00faltiples ventajas, ya que se trata de una tecnolog\u00eda eficiente, m\u00e1s limpia, con mayor ahorro energ\u00e9tico, amigable con el medio ambiente, entre otras.<\/p>\n
